Los Haitises National Park is one of the most magical places in the Caribbean 🌿

Exploring it by dinghy makes it even more special. Gliding through the mangroves, with roots twisting into the water and birds calling all around you, is something you don’t forget. Places like Shark Mouth Cave and Gabriel Cave are especially surreal—with those massive rock formations, ancient Taíno pictographs, and the echo of nature all around.

The birdlife here is next-level too—pelicans, frigatebirds, herons—when you’re surrounded by their sounds in that kind of untouched environment, it really does feel unreal. 

Honestly, that’s one of the best ways to experience the DR beyond the beaches.
