Carriacou

We skipped Carriacou the first time through. We won't make that mistake again.

The sail over from Île de Ronde was short and calm, with our friends on Mellow Puff right beside us. Tyrell Bay still shows what Hurricane Beryl did. Broken boats. Missing roofs. And people rebuilding anyway.

Then there's Sandy Island. Pink sand, clear water, and not much else. It felt like the Bahamas all over again. It was heaven, and we didn't want to leave.

At Paradise Beach Club we painted our boat name on a board and hung it next to our friends' and every other crew that passed through. A small thing. But it's up there now.

Carriacou is quiet and a little bruised. It's also one of our favorite stops this season.
