Nasza podróż zaprowadziła nas wzdłuż wschodniego wybrzeża Stanów Zjednoczonych i przez turkusowe wody Bahamów, gdzie każde miejsce postoju przynosi nowe lekcje, przyjaźnie i historie warte opowiedzenia. Ta podróż łączy przygodę z edukacją, zmieniając codzienne życie na morzu w żywą klasę dla naszej córki. Dzięki praktycznym doświadczeniom, naturze i odkrywaniu kultury, podróżowanie pozostaje najskuteczniejszym sposobem nauki. Dzieląc się autentycznymi historiami, praktycznymi wskazówkami podróżniczymi i urzekającymi zdjęciami, SVBogumila pragnie inspirować rodziny do podejmowania przygód, wzmacniania więzi i tworzenia niezapomnianych wspomnień – zarówno na wodzie, jak i poza nią.

We didn’t set out to just visit places—we set out to experience them slowly, by sea, one anchorage at a time. SV Bogumila became our way of moving through the world differently. Not faster, but deeper. It didn't all just happen at once but over past three years we discovered those locations. In Bahamas it started with
the crossing to Bimini—that first glimpse of turquoise after days of blue. A quiet confirmation that we had chosen the right path. From there, the rhythm began.
In the Berry Islands, we learned how to slow down. Empty anchorages, glassy water, and nights where the only sound was the wind. It was no longer about arriving—it was about being there.
Nassau reminded us that even in a life at sea, we still return to the practical—fuel, food, repairs. A pause between wild places. Necessary, but never the goal.
Then came the Exuma—where everything changed. Water so clear it felt unreal, anchorages that looked like they belonged to another world. This is where sailing stopped feeling like travel and started feeling like freedom.
We found simplicity in the Abaco Islands—protected waters, small harbors, and the quiet joy of short sails and easy days.
In Eleuthera, we learned respect. Two oceans meeting, conditions changing, and the reminder that the sea always sets the terms.
Further south, islands like Cat Island and Long Island brought us closer to something raw and untouched—places where time slows, and the world feels wide again. We spend three years in Bahamas until we decided to go farther south our journey shifted. We felt ready .
In Luperón, we found shelter—not beauty in the traditional sense, but something just as important: safety, community, and time to pause.
Puerto Plata brought movement back—wind, waves, and the energy of a different coastline. A reminder that every place carries its own rhythm.
And finally, Samaná gave us space again. Wide anchorages, green hills, and the feeling of arriving somewhere that invites you to stay a little longer. At Puerto Bahía Marina, we paused—not because we had to, but because we wanted to.We will continue explore new locations and share with you the glimpse of our world.Hope you all enjoy the journey and maybe we push you to decide to take on your own plans.Maybe we can inspire you to live life differently .
🌊 What Drives Us
This journey isn’t about ticking destinations off a list.
It’s about:
• finding anchorages that don’t show up on maps
• learning patience from the wind and tides
• trading speed for presence
• and discovering that the space between places is often the most meaningful part
SV Bogumila is more than a boat.
It’s our way of choosing a different pace, a different perspective, and a different kind of freedom.
