Long Island

Long Island is known for its dramatic contrasts and one of the deepest blue holes in the world. Like Eleuthera, it sits between two worlds—but here it feels even more raw, more spread out, and more untouched.

It’s also famous for having both rugged Atlantic cliffs and calm, protected anchorages on the other side—giving you two completely different cruising experiences in one place.

    •    Dean’s Blue Hole — one of the deepest in the world, surreal dark blue circle

    •    Cape Santa Maria Beach — often ranked among the most beautiful beaches anywhere

    •    Columbus Harbour — historic and well-protected anchorage

Long Island rewards you if you take your time. It’s less about hopping quickly and more about exploring both sides of the island and waiting for the right conditions. Fewer boats, more space, and a strong sense of independence.
